Variety Characteristics
Harvest occurs approximately 80 days after emergence. The plant has an upright growth habit, reaching a height of 50–60 cm, with pale purple flower corollas. The tubers are oval-shaped, large and uniformly sized, featuring a deep purple, smooth skin with shallow eyes. Inside, the flesh boasts a rich, deep purple hue, containing 48.4 mg of anthocyanins per 100 g of fresh weight—significantly higher than most varieties—and exhibits superior antioxidant activity. This variety also demonstrates high yield potential.
Suitable Area
Suitable for cultivation in northern regions with one growing season, the Central Plains with two growing seasons, and southern winter cropping areas.
