After the observation, a special discussion meeting was held, presided over by Deputy Mayor Ma Junyun of Dezhou City. The meeting began with a speech by Wang Dashan, Deputy Secretary of the Leling Municipal Committee and Mayor. Our Chairman, Liang Xisen, reported on the center's construction and company development, and Liu Xinmin, Vice President of Qingdao Agricultural University, reported on the industry-university-research cooperation with Hisen. Leadership Speech

After listening to the special work report on-site, Director Tang Bo fully affirmed the achievements of Hisen and the National Potato Engineering Technology Research Center in technological innovation, variety breeding, and industrial development, deeply analyzed the new situation faced by technological innovation work, and made important instructions for the center's next steps and the technological innovation development of the potato industry.

First, Director Tang clearly stated that he would fully support Hisen to become a demonstration project, a benefit project, and a poverty alleviation project for rural revitalization in Shandong Province, creating the number one brand in the potato industry nationwide; he hopes that the center will make significant breakthroughs in the breeding of salt-alkali resistant new varieties in the Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Zone and achieve results that can be included in the national plan.

Secondly, he required the center to fully utilize international and domestic biological and agricultural high-tech resources, play the core role of professionals, solve key issues in the potato industry, and comprehensively improve the overall level of China's potato industry. The center should be guided by technological innovation, continue to increase the intensity of technological innovation, strengthen the potato industry chain, and accelerate the integrated process of breeding, propagation, and promotion. Increase efforts to attract high-level talents, build a high-level talent team, and further strengthen industry-university-research cooperation and technological innovation construction. Focus on promoting the deep development of the potato industry towards fine and high-quality products, achieving deep integration of the "innovation chain," "industry chain," and "talent chain." Further increase international cooperation efforts, support policies for the introduction of offshore talents from foreign expert bureaus, etc. Fully leverage the leading role of Hisen in the industry to drive development through technological innovation, integrate industrial development into the overall situation of poverty alleviation, promote agricultural efficiency, increase farmers' income, and strive to create a Qilu model for industrial poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
